GEORGE SERVANIS

Drums

With more than 30 years experience, having toured the world over, George is now an in demand teacher and mentor to many students. George tailors his lessons to suit his students from beginners to the more proficient with an overall focus on having fun playing drums. Drumming styles include, Funk, Rock, Jazz, Swing, Reggae, Rhythm & Blues and a hint of World Music rhythms. Focusing on Rudiments, Coordination exercises, basic reading notation and Stick and Brushes technique. Also developing skills in Song writing, live performance and Studio recording.

NED DEMPSEY

Guitar / Bass / Ukulele

Ned has obtained his degree in Bachelor of Music Performance (Contemporary and Classical guitar) at The University of Melbourne. Ned is a young and diverse musician with valuable experience in music performance, as well as education, that he is keen to share with students of all ages.

AKASH DUTTA

Piano

With over 20 years experience as a pianist and keyboardist, Akash Dutta has a rich background in both contemporary and classical musical styles. Trained at the New Zealand School of Music, Akash holds a Bachelor of Music (BMusHons) in Jazz Performance (specialization in Piano), graduating with First Class Honours in 2022. He has a background teaching students of all ages and has experience teaching various syllabuses including Trinity, NZMEB, ABRSM, and Alfreds.

RAY TOSTI

Mentor

As a founding member of iconic Aussie band, Hunters & Collectors, Ray has been performing, recording and teaching for many years and is a wealth of information about all aspects of the music industry. For the past 20 years Ray has focused heavily on singing and performance. He has been inducted into the Aria Hall Of Fame and has appeared on some of Australia’s biggest stages, TV and Radio. His passion for music is what drives him and he says “there is no greater reward than sharing in his students success”

SARAH RICHARDS

Singing / Violin

Sarah is an experienced and passionate music educator with over 20 years of violin training and 10 years of vocal training. She teaches violin using both AMEB and Suzuki syllabuses and strives to offer a personalised experience to each student, catering to their goals and learning styles. Sarah’s vocal teaching follows the AMEB syllabus and includes genres such as contemporary, musical theatre and classical. She is currently studying voice at the University of Melbourne, further deepening her knowledge with goals of completing her masters in opera. Sarah creates a supportive and engaging learning environment, helping students to build strong technical foundations, express themselves musically and grow confidence whether they are preparing for exams or learning for personal enjoyment.

ANASTASIA

Guitar /  Piano

My name is Anastasia and I have been playing guitar and piano for around 15 years and have been gigging with a bunch of different bands and artists for about 6 years. I teach all levels of piano, acoustic and electric guitar including a wide range of genres as well. I am currently completing a Bachelor of Music Industry (Major in Performance) at Box Hill Institute and am looking forward to working with lots of new and talented students.
